About a month ago, I opened a Google search and typed, ‘personal trainer columbia mo,’ and it seems that’s how this all started. Or maybe it was when I found Becoming Minimalist on Facebook. Or when I came back from my incredible southwest adventure and found myself wishing I had done more hiking. I guess I’m not really sure, but things have definitely been brewing.
In the past, I felt like if I really wanted to change my life and myself it had to be all or nothing, like flipping a light switch. This time, it has slowly rolled in like a wave, and something about that has me trusting it more this time. I’ve slowly been making small changes that I hope are going to really pay off in the long run.
One of those changes was getting this site up and running. I want to take note of where I start and track progress and changes along the way. I also want this to be a place where I can talk about things I’m passionate about and share exciting experiences and ideas. I want to talk about stuff like traveling, reading, how my journey is going, things I’m learning and all sorts of other things.
Above all, it’s where I want to go down a road to less. Less of me, less stuff in my house, less worrying. Because I believe it will give me more. More time, more health, more incredible experiences, more quality of life. It’s a place for me to keep track and hold myself accountable.
Oh, and the personal trainer Google search? I started working out with him last week and my quads are especially mad about this development. Progress!
